This blog is dedicated to finding more natural, gentle ways to live healthy and be beautiful. I take a lot of inspiration from historical and folk recipes and cures. I like to research the science of why certain ingredients were used throughout the ages, across the continents, and by people of all classes.

In particular, this blog will deal a good amount with the topic of acne healing and covering, as I have been dealing with cystic acne for years. I have decided to get rid of it already, so I can have more confidence!

Expect antique beauty recipes (as well as my own concoctions), safer alternatives to skincare products that are easy to make at home, and old-fashioned hair and makeup talk! I focus mainly on very affordable, D.I.Y. products available at the grocery store and from your own house.
